Fordorsia Martini-Henry Mk.VI by AirborneLeaf Fordorsia Martini-Henry Mk.VI by AirborneLeaf
Fordorsia Martini-Henry Mk.VI

Caliber: .700 Fordorsian

Range: 500 yards

Rate of Fire: N/A

Magazine Capacity: 1

First produced in 1895, the Mk.VI is a Fordorsian-produced version of the British Martini-Henry designed for hunting large game. After Waster attacks on the island became more popular, a batch of Mk.VI's were bought by members of the Militia to bring down the largest of the Wasters, while their smaller kin were dispatched with the wide variety of black powder and muzzle loading rifles.

After the Military Revamp of 1908, the Mk.VI failed to be adopted by the newly-formed armed forces, but it was still commonly used by those guarding the Silver Wind Bridge, and even during the Deep War from 1912-1920.

Wow, you've made so many guns for an idea with a rich background. I really hope it gets made into a game someday!

Thanks. We'd much prefer the universe be made into a series of books. If a game comes from said books, that would be good.

Well, I don't know if you know, but Ulfr (DerVulf on DeviantArt) is writing a story and has been for a while. All the parts are in his gallery somewhere if you want to check them out. There are about 6 parts so far.

i saw some of them, yeah. never had the balls to read 'em all, but the ones i did read were of pure awesomeness and badassery. i suppose a book about the story of the Ulfheim and things like the deep war would be awesome; the thing is, there is always more things to develop for it, like this rifle, so if you don't make a book, opportunities will never end, as the story will never be prec isely finished. i believe this is the fun of creating a fictional country. however, a book narrating a few stories and facts would be quite possible - and badass, whithout ruining the endless possibilities of imagination and NationStates.

holy cow, that escalated quickly.
i need to learn how to hold my tongue. or, in this case, my fingers.

Well me and Ulfr have made a few short stories, I've just never finished any of mine :P

I might just have to decide on a modern date where a discovery of Fordorsia's history is made. Fordorsia's history right now is rather limited.

like, a date in which Fordosia had full contact with the "external world"? if so, would it be open for trading? =P

No, like a date in which Fordorsians discovered the history of the island. There are no current records of events for the island prior to the late 1700's, yet massive ruined cities lie on the far west of the island cluster, but getting to them is very difficult, let alone investigating them.

As soon as settlers got on the island and made a foothold they were trading with people.
